Due to construction on the Sterling St. entrance this Saturday, HSR buses will be re-routed as follows:

A detour for westbound route 5C – west Hamilton (the only route directly serving the campus on weekends) will be effective Saturday, Jan. 31, 2004 from approximately 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

The planned detour will operate from Sterling and Forsyth via left (south) on Forsyth, continuing right (west) on McMaster Service Road to the south side of the McMaster University Medical Centre (MUMC), left (south) on exit road to Main and resuming regular westbound routing.

The following three westbound stops on campus will not be serviced: on Sterling St. beside the Museum of Art, on College Cres. across from the psychology building, and on the McMaster service road (near the parking kiosk towards the front of the hospital). A temporary stop will be placed east of the Forsyth intersection on Sterling St. The stop on the McMaster service road (near Main St.) will be moved to the west side of the Main St. exit.

Eastbound route 5A – Delaware will not be affected.
