Members of the University community are invited to attend one of three scheduled open meetings in March to discuss the future of McMaster and Refining Directions, the University's strategic planning process. The sessions will be co-hosted by University President Peter George and Provost Ken Norrie.

The purpose of these meetings is to present and discuss the
key themes and recommendations emerging from the reports of six Work Groups who have been studying the following key areas of the University: undergraduate education, research and graduate education, external activities, internal community, planning
and managing, and branding.

Earlier this month, the groups submitted their reports to the Refining
Directions Steering Committee. The reports are now being consolidated into one comprehensive document.

The sessions will provide an opportunity for the community to learm more abut the themes and recommendations emerging from this planning process.
