Posted on Feb. 26: Men’s basketball team to face University of Waterloo in OUA West Semi-Final

The nationally seventh-ranked McMaster men's basketball team will face the University of Waterloo in the OUA West Semi-Final Saturday, Feb. 28 at 2 p.m. at McMaster's Burridge Gymnasium.

The winner will advance to the OUA West Finals and earn a trip to the final 10 in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

Tickets are available at the Copps Coliseum Box office and the Compass Information Centre in the McMaster Student Centre on the McMaster campus with no service fees. Tickets are also available via Ticketmaster by phone at 905-527-7666, Ticketmaster online at www.ticketmaster.ca and all Ticketmaster locations. Normal services charges apply.

Women's volleyball

McMaster women's volleyball received OUA West Coach of the Year and three OUA West All-Star selections.

Left side hitter Arin Bush picked up her third OUA West All-Star selection. Teammate Christie Estabrooks earned her second All-Star selection. Estabrooks' older sister Jen Estabrooks, was named to the OUA West second team.

The OUA Women's Volleyball Final Four takes place this Friday and
Saturday at the University of Toronto. The host Varsity Blues take on
McMaster in the first semi-final at 6 p.m. on Friday, with the
Queen's Golden Gaels and Guelph Gryphons set to battle it out in the
second semi-final at 8 p.m. The bronze and gold medal matches are
slated for 6 and 8 p.m. on Saturday.
