The Marauders basketball and volleyball teams shone on the court this past weekend, as the men's and women's basketball, and women's volleyball teams defeated its opponents.

McMaster's men's basketball clinched first place and home court advantage in the OUA West Playoffs with a 57-52 victory over the University of Windsor Lancers. The men's team receives a bye in the OUA West Quarter-Finals by virtue of the first place finish.

McMaster will host the OUA West Semi-Final on Saturday, Feb. 28, at the Burridge Gymnasium against Brock, Waterloo or Laurier.

The women's basketball team defeated the Windsor Lancers 87-57 in its last regular season in the OUA West Division. The women's team will advance to the OUA West Quarter-Finals in Kitchener on Wednesday, Feb. 25, against the Wilfrid Laurier University Golden Hawks.

The women's volleyball team defeated Wilfrid Laurier 3-0 in the OUA West Quarter-Final. McMaster will advance to the OUA Final Four against the University of Toronto who defeated the University of Ottawa 3-0 on Friday, Feb. 27, at 6 p.m. at the University of Toronto athletic complex.

The OUA Medal round is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 28 with the bronze medal played at 7 p.m. and the OUA championship following at 9 p.m.
