Posted on Dec. 8: Employees and their families celebrate Christmas at McMaster

[img_inline align=”right” src=”http://padnws01.mcmaster.ca/images/christmas_party.jpg” caption=”Children’s Christmas Party”]On Dec. 6, more than 350 McMaster employees and their family members gathered at the McMaster University Student Centre to celebrate the annual Children's Christmas Party.

All who attended were treated to live entertainment from children's recording artists Turkey Rhubarb. Other activities included crafts, face-painters, and a visit from Santa.

Many employees and family members also took the opportunity to visit the “Mitten Tree” to donate new mittens, scarves or hats in support of the “Coats for Kids” program.

Numerous volunteers and sponsors assisted the McMaster University Children's Christmas Party volunteer committee and McMaster Employee Spirit Society in organizing the event.
