Produced by the McMaster University Alumni Association and photographer Richard Bain, the book features 126 stunning photographs of students engaged in campus life, from learning and discovery to sport and recreation. The book is punctuated with alumni reminiscences.

“We have such a beautiful campus and before now we were only able to share it with people who are here,” says Roger Trull, vice-president, University Advancement. “Now we can show the rest of the world how beautiful it is. For our students, it's a nice keepsake to remind them of their time here. For the University, it's a gift we can present to visiting dignitaries and friends of the University — a memento that reflects well on the University and its students.”

The book will no doubt surprise those graduates who have not visited their alma mater in a number of years, a point made by alumnus and award-winning comedian Martin Short in the book's foreword: “The magic of McMaster, however, is that no matter how much it changes, the place you remember is still there.”

The book, entitled McMaster University, will be sold on campus for $40 at both Titles Bookstore locations in Gilmour Hall and the Faculty of Health Sciences as well as online at titles.mcmaster.ca.
