Notice of Memorial Service: Andrew Talalla

A memorial service for Andrew Talalla, professor emeritus, Faculty of Health Sciences, will be held on June 20 at 7 p.m. in Alumni Memorial Hall, Faculty Club.

Talalla, 75, passed away at Hamilton General Hospital on May 27.

A respected neurosurgeon, he was dedicated to the practice and teaching of medicine and made significant contributions to medical research.

After retirement, he continued his career in developing educational models for neurosurgery and neurology. He was completing a textbook in medical education at the time of his death.

Donations can be made to McMaster University in the name of Andrew Talalla. The purpose is to establish a scholarship fund, in his name, for medical students.
