new website by the University's research development office.

The Research Office for Administration, Development and Support, known as ROADS,
helps researchers access important funding from external granting agencies such as the
Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada and the Social Sciences
and Humanities Research Council of Canada.

Its new site simplifies the search for funding sources and helps researchers connect
with office staff who can assist with issues ranging from agency and institutional policy
compliance to budget development.

Kathy Charters, executive director of ROADS, encourages researchers to visit the site
and contact staff members with any questions they might have.

“It's what we're here for,” she said. “We want to partner with researchers to help them
access the many funding opportunities that are available to them.

“Finding and applying for funding can be difficult, but there's no need to go through the
process alone.”

Charters also suggests subscribing to the biweekly e-newsletter Funding Opportunities
Bulletin, which helps keep researchers informed of upcoming research support
opportunities.

The new site can be found here.
