Students can now access Student Accessibility Services from anywhere
they want via mobile devices.

Student Accessibility Services, formerly known as the Centre for Student Development,
has made its website fully mobile to put information in the hands of students on the
go.

Students no longer need to go to a desktop computer to print letters of academic
accommodation, access classroom notes or book classes with accommodations.
Volunteer note-takers also have the option to log in from their hand-held devices
to upload notes.

“We decided to make the website mobile because we recognize there's an emerging
technology that can help our students,” said Tim Nolan, manager of Student
Accessibility Services. “It's about improving two things: timeliness and flexibility.”

The new mobile site can be accessed at m.sas.mcmaster.ca.

Services formerly offered by the Centre for Student Development are now offered by two new units: the Student Wellness Centre, which offers personal
counselling, and Student Accessbility Services, which can be found here.
