More seating, less congestion after MUSC renos

More seating options, a new staircase to the Arts Quad and a renovated lounge space are all part of the renovations happening this summer at the Student Centre.

A defined walkway will soon run from the new staircase and along the Gilmour Hall wall, and food court furniture will be realigned in a more efficient design, allowing for more seating and less congestion in the area.

The other side of the building is also getting a facelift, with the glass wall near Starbucks being moved deeper into Mills Plaza and the relocation of doors to create more usable space.

Approximately 125 new seats are expected to be added as part of the renovations, which are expected to be complete by mid-August.
