Mission to Mac introduces new students to McMaster

[img_inline align=”right” src=”http://padnws01.mcmaster.ca/images/missiontomac.jpg” caption=”Mission to Mac sessions will be held in 16 Ontario cities as well as Calgary, Vancouver and Edmonton. “]Today is the launch date for the McMaster Alumni Association's Mission to Mac 007, a series of orientation events designed to help incoming McMaster students and their families learn more about the University and what to expect upon their arrival in September.
Since the early '90s, the McMaster Alumni Association has organized a summer program for incoming students to connect with and help orient newcomers to McMaster in their home communities. Not only have these students achieved an important life goal, they have begun a journey into the unknown and the McMaster Alumni Association wants to lend a helping hand.
This summer, there will be 20 Missions in total, including 16 in Ontario and distance locations of Calgary, Vancouver, Edmonton and Hong Kong. These Missions provide the perfect opportunity for first year students to meet people who have survived first year academically and socially.
