More than $1,600 was raised during the annual Charity Bus Pull for Cystic Fibrosis, which is organized by the McMaster Engineering Society (MES) and a highlight of Welcome Week. The event started at City Hall and covered nearly 30 city blocks as the bus rolled east down Main Street to Wellington Street and back along King Street to Bay Street, finishing at City Hall.

Also participating were Hamilton City Councilor Brian McHattie, McMaster engineering alumnus Romeo Palombella, and a representative from the Canadian Cystic Fibrosis Foundation (CCFF). Their speeches inspired and motivated all in attendance.
