File photo.”]A memorial service for Colin Campbell will be held on Thursday, Sept. 18 at 2:30 p.m. in the Great Hall of St. John's Anglican Church, 272 Wilson St. in Ancaster.

Campbell, professor emeritus in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, passed away on Tuesday, Sept. 9. A private funeral service and cremation were held earlier by Campbell's family.

Campbell joined the Faculty of Engineering in 1960 and distinguished himself with numerous awards and recognitions during his tenure. He retired in 1989.
