McMaster’s United Way campaign to announce most ambitious goal to date

The Community Engagement and Volunteer Fair is offered by the Student Success Centre and takes place in MUSC today.


McMaster’s United Way Campaign for 2012 will launch September 26 at 12:30 p.m. during the Community Engagement and Volunteer Fair being offered by the Student Success Centre in MUSC.

The Campaign is titled “Change Starts Here” and runs until December 10. The McMaster United Way Campaign is the largest workplace campaign in the Hamilton-Burlington area and this year is announcing its most ambitious goal to date.

The Community Engagement and Volunteer Fair is a way for students, staff, and faculty to learn more about the community, look for practical experience connected with their academics, and explore future career options. There are over 70 organizations present with subjects related to Health, LGBTQ Communities, All abilities, Women’s Issues, Environment, Newcomer Communities, Youth, Seniors, Museums, and more.
