McMaster’s first all-vegetarian eatery opens

Photo credit: Chantall Van Raay”]Bridges Cafi, McMaster's first all-vegetarian eatery, opens today (Monday, Jan. 24) in the newly renovated Refectory Building. The opening takes place from 11 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Members from the Bridges Cafi steering committee will be on hand throughout the day to answer questions and provide information about the new eatery. Members include Phil Wood, associate vice-president of Student Affairs; Albert Ng, director of McMaster Hospitality Services; Shano Mohan, McMaster Students Union president and representatives from MSU Diversity Services.

Bridges Cafi is a student-based initiative that caters to the ideological and religious dietary needs of students, staff, and faculty. It will be open Monday to Thursday 11 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. and Friday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. For more information,
