McMaster University Sustainability Day

McMaster University is committed to sustainability. There are many on-campus initiatives to support this commitment. In order to create awareness and communicate information about these initiatives McMaster University Sustainability Day will be held on Wednesday, October 29. The event takes place in the Student Centre Marketplace from 11 a.m. to 2 p. m.
Groups presenting information on their sustainability activities include: MACgreen, security services, ACT Office, Hamilton Street Railway, purchasing services, McMaster's Healthy Workplace, Environmental & Occupational Health Support Services, and others.
McMaster has adopted the Campus Sustainability Assessment Framework (CSAF), a tool tailored to conduct baseline sustainability assessments in university campus environments. Information about a student-led initiative, the McMaster Sustainability Assessment report, will also be shared.
Attendees are encouraged to bring a reusable coffee mug in order to receive a free cup of coffee.
