McMaster’s annual United Way campaign is underway!

The campaign kicked off on October 1st with a bus pull fundraiser that took place at the first ever Fall Fair, hosted by the McMaster Healthy Workplace and United Way Committees. Staff, student and faculty teams competed to pull the McMaster shuttle bus 50 feet down the campus road.

The big winners were:

Department of Economics for the fastest pull (10.2 seconds!).
Campus Store Crusaders for the biggest cheering section.
Religious Studies Rapscallions for most team spirit.

The event raised $8,200 towards the $300,000 McMaster campaign goal in support of the United Way of Burlington and Hamilton. Our annual campaign provides core funding and program support to local agencies in Hamilton, Burlington and at McMaster that offer vital services to the community.
