McMaster trails Toronto at OUA Golf Championship

Championship tournament held at Sutton Creek Golf and Country Club in
Windsor, the Toronto Varsity Blues shot a combined 302 score and hold a two-stroke lead over the second-place McMaster Marauders (304). The Western Mustangs, Guelph Gryphons and defending champion Waterloo Warriors all sit in a crowded third place after shooting 309.

Individually, Mike Glenney of the Toronto Varsity Blues holds a one-stroke lead over the field, as he fired a one-over par 73. Waterloo's Jud Whiteside and McMaster's Mike Matunin, are tied for
second with 74 each. Last year's individual champion, Mike Kearns, from the Guelph Gryphons, sits three-strokes off the lead with a 76.

Two-time defending ladies champion, Katie McIntyre from McMaster, shot a 90 yesterday and sits tied for seventh place. Currently, Queen's Golden Gael Danielle Green is first, after
shooting 80 on Monday. Two-strokes off the lead is a three-way tie for second including Nonie Marler from Guelph and a strong pair
from Western, Sue Gleeson and Lindsey Edmunds.

The two-day championship, sponsored by mikeweir.com continues today at Sutton Creek Golf and Country Club in Windsor.
