McMaster to host 73rd annual Homecoming celebrations

[img_inline align=”right” src=”http://padnws01.mcmaster.ca/images/homecoming_pic21.jpg”]Hundreds of McMaster alumni will descend upon the University this weekend for its 73rd annual Homecoming celebrations.
The weekend will include a concert by McMaster's own Arkells and a football game between the Marauders and the Guelph Gryphons, to be played Oct. 24 at Ron Joyce Stadium. The game will feature a special half-time performance by the McMaster Marching Band.
Saturday will also see the McMaster Alumni Association host their Homecoming Chili Lunch, scheduled for noon at Marauder Plaza outside the stadium.
On Sunday morning at 11:00 a.m., McMaster will host the Athletic Hall of Fame Induction with Ron Joyce, Paul Clatney, Selena Blaj (Gaertner), Carol Love (Eastmure), Chris Markou, Paul Ragusa, Diane Ste. Marie, the women's CIAU championship gymnastics team from 1980/81 and the CIAU championship wrestling team from 1993/94 being inducted.
