McMaster Students get better acquainted with Hamilton
Students from McMaster visited downtown Hamilton on Friday as part of an initiative to introduce more Mac students to parts of the city.
McMaster Residence Life Staff this past Friday, August 24 participated in the first ever Hamilton Experience Night. Residence Life at McMaster encourages the idea that students be a part of campus life as well as the Hamilton community. this initiative, Residence Life staff are expected to plan a Hamilton Community Experience for their residence hall.
Brandon Smith, manager of student leadership and learning at residence life, thought it was important for community advisors to gain exposure to the city through the event.
“Our students and residence life staff are not only members of the residence and Mac communities, but the Hamilton community as well,” Smith told CBC Hamilton in an email interview.
