“I was inspired to become involved in the run this year by the impact Terry Fox has on Canadians,” said Diane Bedrossian, a second-year medical student and co-leader of the McMaster University Medical School team. “Beyond his efforts to raise money for cancer, Terry Fox's determination and 'never quit' motto is a positive example for all of us to follow.”

Registration for the McMaster University Terry Fox Run begins at 11:30 a.m. at the McMaster University Student Centre and the run starts at 1 p.m.

“Whether you run, jog, walk or just come out to encourage others participating in the event, this is a wonderful way for the McMaster community to come together and have some fun while supporting and continuing the journey of a truly remarkable Canadian that we all admire,” said Bedrossian.
