McMaster recognized for advancement excellence

In the Prix d'Excellence competition, the prestigious annual awards program of CCAE, McMaster was awarded one gold, three silvers and two bronzes.

McMaster's Case Statement and Campaign Materials for the Athletics and Recreation Complex and Stadium campaign were selected as the winner of the gold award in the Best Fundraising Case Statement and Campaign Materials category.

McMaster's Office of Public Relations was awarded silver in the Best E-Innovation in University Advancement category for Picture McMaster, an online photo gallery.

Student Liaison was also awarded silver for in the “best program, student recruitment” category for its 2004-05 Recruitment Publications.

Silver also was awarded to Alumni Advancement, in the “creativity on a shoe string” category for its Dress for Success event in Toronto.
The new materials from Development's bequest campaign won bronze as did the departments planned giving brochure.

The CCAE recognizes outstanding achievement in alumni affairs, public affairs, development, student recruitment, and overall institutional advancement. The awards will be presented at the 2005 CCAE Conference in Banff, Alberta May 29-June 1.
