Founder’s Day activities begin at noon on Tuesday

Terry Fallis

As a special treat to mark this year's Founder's Day, humour writer and University alumnus Terry Fallis will deliver a lunchtime lecture in CIBC Hall.

With Founder’s Day being celebrated Tuesday on campus, a number of events are scheduled for the week ahead:

  • On Tuesday, April 23, award winning humour writer and McMaster alumnus Terry Fallis will deliver a Founder’s Day talk from 12:30 to 1 p.m. in CIBC Hall. Fallis will be sharing stories and laughs from his own University experiences as we reflect on our founder William McMaster, how we got here and who we have to thank for it. Coffee and desert will also be served.
  • Pick up your Treat-a-Gram April 23 in CIBC Hall from noon to 2 pm. All proceeds from the fundraiser will benefit student bursaries at McMaster.
  • This week, members of the McMaster community can also sign up for spring Doors Open, and take an inside look at some of the most interesting sites on campus, including: The McMaster Museum of Art vault; the McMaster Institute for Music and the Mind; the McMaster glassblowing shop and other exciting locations. The event runs from April 22-26.
