McMaster mourns loss of Rick Hazell

Software analyst Rick Hazell, who worked in Computing and Information Services for 38 years, passed away on July 20, 2007.

Rick was the loving husband, soulmate and best friend of Nancy for 36 years and devoted and cherished father to Tom and Deana.

He is predeceased by his parents Fred and Betty Hazell and father-in-law Andy DeCola and is survived by his mother-in-law Nancy DeCola.

Rick will be remembered by much loved sisters and brothers-in-law Sara and Brian Gallo-O'Toole, Joe and Terry DeCola, Tonella and Jon Griffin, and sisters Cathy and Jim Wilson, Christine Camara and Randy Wallace, and brother Matt Hazell.

He will also be sadly missed by many loving nieces and nephews, friends and relatives here as well as in Italy and England.

A funeral mass will take place on Monday, July 23, 2007 at St. Augustine's Church, 58 Sydenham Street, Dundas at 11 a.m. Interment will take place at St. Augustine's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Breast Cancer Research Fund would be appreciated by the family.
