McMaster mourns Colin Campbell

He was a professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering from 1960 to 1989 and more recently served as professor emeritus for the department.

He was a recipient of many awards, but while at McMaster University, he received two teaching awards from the McMaster
Student Union for his excellence in teaching, as well as a Teaching
Citation from the Ontario Council of University Faculty Associations.

For his research accomplishments, he was awarded the Eadie Medal of the Royal Society of Canada in 1983. For more information regarding Campbell's distinguished accomplishments, please visit the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering's

The family has arranged for a private funeral service and cremation, and therefore, there will be no visitation. Should information become available regarding a memorial service, details will be posted on the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering's website.
