McMaster launches new home for brand resources

Where can I find McMaster’s official logo? How do I create a new website? Can I get that fancy new email signature?

McMaster’s Communications and Public Affairs team has launched a new Brand Standards site to help the campus community with all its Brighter World branding questions.

The site is home to a variety of tools and resources – such as the University’s brand guidelines, web code and print and digital templates – which make it simple for staff and faculty to help build McMaster’s brand.

“The site has a wide variety of resources, but it is meant to grow over time,” says Michael Webber, McMaster’s Executive Advisor, Marketing. “Our goal is to identify additional needs as more people engage with the Brighter World brand.”

Among the many assets available on the site:

  • Official logos and fonts
  • A custom-built, easy-to-use tool for ordering business cards and stationery
  • An email signature generator
  • A website header/footer generator
  • Web code needed to develop branded websites

In addition, McMaster has launched a new photo library for use by staff and faculty. The ever-growing collection contains photos of campus buildings, researchers, labs and more, and can be accessed using your MacID.

The site was designed and built by Media Production Services.

The one-stop-shop for all things Brighter World is now live at brand.mcmaster.ca.
