McMaster hosts women’s basketball finals

The 2000 OUA West Women's Basketball Final Four Championship begins at McMaster today with the All-Star Awards Banquet.

Competition starts on Thursday at 5:30 p.m. when the Western Mustangs battle the Waterloo Warriors and McMaster faces Brock at 7:30 p.m.

The winners of Thursday's games will meet in the OUA West Division Final on Friday night at 7:30 p.m. to determine who gets a berth in the CIAU National Championship.

“The McMaster Marauders are seeded number two in this tournament, so we hope the community will come out on Thursday, March 2 to cheer for the maroon and grey,” says Trish Chant, co-ordinator, communications/media relations, athletics & recreation.
