This week, McMaster will host approximately 1,900 prospective undergraduate students for 90-minute campus tours. In addition, about 2,200 people are expected to visit the campus on Saturday, March 17.

“A growing number of students are using March break as an opportunity to explore the campuses they may be attending next year,” says Candy Hui, liaison officer at the Student Liaison Office. “Tours bode well for McMaster because we have such a naturally beautiful campus and our visitors are always impressed.”

Since March Break Week tours are now full, staff are gearing up for the March Break Saturday visit.

“The day consists of guided campus tours, residence visits, information session for all Level I programs, and an opportunity to speak with representatives from Level I programs as well as Student Services,” says Hui.

An information session called Next Steps: From Admissions to Registration will also help shed some light on the admissions, acceptance and registration process.

No registration is required for the Saturday visit. This is the last major touring event before May@Mac on Saturday, May 12, a campus-wide open house where prospective students can meet with faculty representatives, attend lectures and workshops, visit facilities, talk with McMaster students and tour residences.
