McMaster donates phone centre for Tsunami relief effort

McMaster has donated the use of its phone centre located in the Downtown Centre for a Red Cross Phonathon in support of the Tsunami relief efforts. The phonathon will be broadcast live today (Jan. 11) on CHTV from 6 a.m. to midnight.

Hundreds of McMaster and Hamilton Health Sciences volunteers are taking donations at the call centre today.

All donations will help the Red Cross provide clean drinking water, shelter and medicine to the survivors, and will also help long-term with rebuilding in the now devastated regions.
