McMaster Continuing Education introduces new advanced marketing program


McMaster Continuing Education has introduced a new program to help experienced marketers enhance their skills and stay current in a rapidly changing industry.

Advanced Strategic Marketing Techniques is designed for professionals with at least four years of experience as well as a diploma or degree in marketing. Students will learn skills and techniques that are directly applicable to their workplaces.

The flexible online program, which can be completed in less than a year, includes five courses:

  1. Brand Management – shows students the importance of building a strong brand that translates into a superior customer experience
  2. Marketing Strategies – presents the key elements, considerations and components of building a successful marketing strategy
  3. Marketing Financials – teaches students how to link marketing programs to financial performance
  4. Marketing Data Analytics – focuses on turning insights into marketing action through data mining, predictive and regression analysis
  5. International Marketing – shows students how to plan successful marketing programs by understanding the social, cultural, political and legal impacts when marketing on the international stage

Students also receive complimentary membership to the Canadian Marketing Association that remains valid up to one year after graduation.
