McMaster is closed on Monday, January 17 due to a significant winter storm hitting Hamilton and much of southern Ontario.
All scheduled classes, labs, studios and events — in-person and remote — are cancelled.
All McMaster facilities currently open under existing COVID-19 regulations, including specific study spaces , will be closed. All eateries are closed except for those in residence.
As of January 1, 2022, the university is now working under its original storm closure policy.
This means that employees, unless deemed essential under the policy, will not work the day of a closure.
