McMaster cheerleading team becomes two-time national champions

The Marauders had a strong opening round performance scoring 289.5 points, that gave them a convincing 58-point lead heading into the second round performance.

In the second round, McMaster proved why they are one of the best squads in the country scoring a full 65 points ahead of its nearest competition with a second round score of 291.

The Marauders secured the defense of its title with a 123-point margin of victory.

Also of note for McMaster was the performance of Alison Cox, Michelle Devera, Christa Kocha and Tracey Page who won the Collegiate All Girl Quad Stunt Competition. They won with a score of 66.5 points, beating out the second place team by 16 points.
