A noted crime writer, a renowned AIDS activist and the UN Under-Secretary-General are among those being awarded honorary degrees at McMaster's spring convocation this week.
More than 4,500 students will graduate from McMaster during convocation ceremonies from June 4 to 7. Honorary degree recipients are recognized for their contributions in such areas as public service, education and scholarship, creative and performing arts, and for their work within the McMaster community.
