McMaster celebrates Fair Dealing Week

McMaster’s Office of Legal Services and Copyright at McMaster, led by McMaster’s Copyright Advisory Group, is holding an event, Fair Dealing: How to Assess the CCH Factors, on February 28, 2017 at 2pm in the University Club (Great Hall Room).

At this event, McMaster’s Legal Counsel, Sarah O’Byrne will present practical guidance on the fair dealing analysis relevant to post-secondary education. Through case studies, attendees will explore the considerations involved in applying the Supreme Court of Canada’s six fair dealing criteria as explained in CCH Canadian Ltd. v. Law Society of Upper Canada.
