McMaster celebrates Black History Month

The African Caribbean Faculty Association at McMaster (ACFAM), The President’s Advisory Committee on Building an Inclusive Community (PACBIC) and The Ontario Public Interest Research Group (OPIRG) at McMaster have organized a number of events for Black History Month.

  • February 7:  The African Inventors Museum 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. MUSC Atrium
  • February 15: Mac EXPO- come and meet all the African and African Diaspora student groups on Campus: MUSC Atrium
  • February 16: Movie Night- “The Ninth Floor” 7 p.m. – 9 p.m. – Location TBA
  • February 25: John C. Holland Awards- 5:30 p.m. Liuna Station, 360 James St. N.
  • February 27: Speed Networking with ACFAM- 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. L.R. Wilson Hall, room 2001
  • March 14: Equity Myths in Academia – Panel presentation and Discussion: 4:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. MDCL 1102
  • Throughout February: Caribbean food on the menu at University Club
