More than 5,000 prospective students and their families are expected to visit McMaster
this Saturday, May 7 for the University's annual May @ Mac open house.

Between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. guests can attend open house events including
presentations and workshops and lab tours designed to provide a taste of first-year
programs. They may also tour the residences, browse McMaster's campus by bus or on
foot, and visit some of its state-of-the-art facilities such as the David Braley Athletic
Centre.

“It is the collaborative efforts of many faculty, staff, students and volunteers, that make
this Open House such a successful event,” said Jamie Young, liaison officer. “Spring is a
wonderful time of year to visit McMaster's beautiful campus and students can explore
the environment they will be living and studying in while at the University.”
