On Saturday, May 10, more than 5,500 prospective students and their families are expected to visit McMaster during this annual open house to learn more about McMaster programs, ask questions about admissions and scholarships, and tour campus facilities.

Liaison officer Candy Hui says that May @ MAC is one of the best opportunities for applicants and their families to check out all that McMaster has to offer.

“Spring is a wonderful time of year to visit the campus,” says Hui. “The campus looks beautiful, and students can explore the environment they would be living and studying in while at McMaster.”

Between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m., guests can attend open house events, including mini-lectures and workshops, visit labs to get a taste of first-year programs, tour the residences, browse McMaster's beautiful campus by bus or on foot, and visit some of our state-of-the-art facilities such as the David Braley Athletics Centre.

“The Student Liaison Office would like to take this opportunity to thank all of the people across campus who are involved in making McMaster's annual May @ Mac Open House such a successful event,” Hui says. “Whether aiding with set-up, clean up, coordinating events, acting as a program representative, or participating in sessions on May 10, it takes the work and efforts of many departments to make it all come together.”
