Marshall will continue to lead Marauders
Marauder head football coach Greg Marshall has signed a new agreement with McMaster University and will continue to lead the Marauder football team into the new millennium.
“Greg Marshall has made a profound impact on the Marauder football program in a relatively short period of time. He has earned the respect and the affection of our student-athletes, the McMaster University community and the greater Hamilton community. Greg is a great team player and has contributed to McMaster University beyond the leadership and success of the football program,” says Therese Quigley, director of athletics & recreation.
Marshall has been at the helm of the Marauders since 1997. He has led the maroon and grey to two consecutive playoff appearances in the last two years.
Marshall is excited about the future of McMaster football. “Coming to McMaster has been a great move for both myself and my family. We have really enjoyed the past three years and look forward to many more. The support of the University, the department and the alumni has made it possible to improve our football program in a relatively short period of time. It has been a total team effort and we are not finished yet. The foundation is in place as we continue to build toward a football championship here at McMaster.”
