Horseshoe Athlete of the Year.

Quinlan, who led the Marauders to their first Vanier Cup national championship last
season, was honoured with the Bill Sturrup Trophy Thursday night at the CYO Celebrity
Dinner.

The South Woodslee, Ont.-native passed for 482 yards and ran for 106 yards in the
Vanier Cup match, for which he was named most valuable player.

Quinlan beat out Milwaukee Brewers pitcher John Axford and track star Christian
Brennan for the athlete of the year title.

He will be one of only three quarterbacks to attend the CFL's evaluation camp this
weekend at the University of Toronto.
