Members of the Marauders football team carried the Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders regimental flag into Gee-Gees Field Saturday before their game against Ottawa.

The gesture was in tribute to Hamilton’s Corporal Nathan Cirillo, killed last week while posted as ceremonial guard at the National War Memorial in Ottawa.

The Marauders lost the game 38-18, but had already clinched first place in the Ontario University Athletics conference.

The team will play in the OUA semi-final game at Ron Joyce Stadium Saturday, Nov. 8.
