MacPherson Institute to hold town hall sessions

The MacPherson Institute is inviting the teaching and learning community at McMaster to participate in a town hall feedback session as it gathers input on its strategic planning process.

There will be three town halls on March 25 and 26 to choose from, during which the draft mission, mandate and vision for the MacPherson Institute will be shared and participants will be invited to share their feedback and ideas.

Following an external review of teaching and learning at McMaster held over the summer and fall of 2018, and in response to recommendations provided by external reviewers and the campus community, the MacPherson Institute began this strategic planning process to refine the mission and mandate of the Institute and to build its strategic plan. Interim Director, Lori Goff, along with Associate Vice-Provost, Faculty, Kim Dej, are leading the process.

Building on consultations that contributed to the external review, this strategic planning will involve broad-reaching consultation with the campus community, including the upcoming town halls.

The event is free but registration is required.   Coffee and light snacks will be provided.

Please register for one of the following sessions:

Location:  MacPherson Institute Classrooms, Mills Memorial Library, 5th Floor (Take elevator 3 to Floor 5R)
