Light Up the Night to celebrate the end of the school year

A nighttime image from behind of a person on stilts breathes fire on campus.

This year's festivities include a drone show, a laser show, an escape room, live music, a midway, carnival rides, busker performances and much more.

Wednesday, April 12 is not only the last day of classes, it marks the annual Light Up the Night celebration, which includes free events, a midway on campus, a drone show and a laser show.

Presented by the McMaster Alumni Association, the McMaster Students Union and campus partners at the Student Success Centre and the Campus Store, the sixth annual year-end campus festival offers carnival rides, games and food trucks, a mobile escape room, fire performers and stilt walkers, a glow party, musical performances and a DJ.

There’s also a Peer Support area in MUSC and walk-home support from the Student Walk Home Attendant Team (SWHAT) until 1 a.m.

Light Up the Night is a free event, open to all McMaster students, alumni and community members. A student card will be required for access to rides and the free food inside the Cafe Chill Zone.
