“We are very excited to have two major concerts for Welcome Week,” says Tommy Piribauer, MSU president. “No other school has been able to secure both Sam Roberts and K-OS for that week.”

Hip hop, rap artist and producer, K-OS won Juno awards in 2005 for Single of the year, Crabbuckit, Best Rap Recording, Joyful Rebellion and for his video for B-Boy Stance.

The free Sam Roberts show will be outside in the open air of faculty hollow behind Hamilton Hall, on Tuesday night followed by a late night movie and open to everyone.

Welcome Week is a partnership between the McMaster Students Union and the First Year Experience Office.
