Honorary degree presented to renowned pediatrician

A delegation from the Polish academy visited McMaster University this week to grant Bar-Or an honorary degree in recognition of his lifetime work in the area of children and exercise.

Bar-Or's daughter, Tali Rich accepted the degree on his behalf. In the accompanying photo, she holds the degree, and is pictured with Antoni Gajewski, vice-rector for education and information technology and Andrzej Wit, past president of the academy.
