weekend.
Reunions, campus tours, a concert and a football game are some of the many events
scheduled to take place over the course of Homecoming, when McMaster welcomes its
alumni community back to campus.
“Homecoming is definitely one of the highlights of the year, both for alumni and for the
McMaster Alumni Association,” said Karen McQuigge, director of alumni advancement at
McMaster. “Our graduates really look forward to coming to campus, and we look
forward to having them. It's always a great time.”
McQuigge added that the weekends schedule of events includes something for all
members of the McMaster community.
“We have a number of reunions happening, we have a pre-football game chili lunch and a concert featuring McMaster alumni Arkells,” she said. “I really encourage everyone to get out and take part.”
Athletics & Recreation will also host its first Celebration of Sport dinner Friday night,
featuring the induction of Amy Apps, Ben Chapdelaine, Sarah Laudenbach, Roger
Martindill, Greg Marshall and Peter George into McMasters Athletic Hall of Fame.
