Grief support session and drop-in counselling available to McMaster community


The university will be holding a support session and drop-in crisis and grief counselling for students on Thursday, January 16.

Open Conversation about Grief: Understanding and Coping with Loss and Grief

This conversation will be led by a personal counsellor.

Snacks and beverages will be provided
Note: a Farsi interpreter will be available for the Open Conversation session

Drop-in individual and group crisis counselling appointments with a personal counsellor.

Support line for those affected by the Ukraine Airline Disaster

Call 1-833-375-0267 for a 24-hour support line, supported by Homewood Health, for anyone in Canada who has been affected by the Ukrainian International Airlines disaster. You do not have to be an Employee Assistance client. This resource can be used in addition to the student supports available on and off campus.
