Grade 9 students on campus for Take Our Kids to Work Day

These young minds will have the opportunity to explore campus labs and facilities in many areas, including music and the arts, science, space, strength and conditioning, anatomy, engineering and cognitive neuroscience.


More than 100 Grade 9 students are on campus Nov. 4 as part of the annual Take Our Kids to Work Day initiative.

These young minds will have the opportunity to explore campus labs and facilities in many areas, including music and the arts, science, space, strength and conditioning, anatomy, engineering and cognitive neuroscience.

Break-out sessions have been developed to help students explore their interests, meet their peers and learn about the connection between school and the workplace.

Roger Couldrey, McMaster’s Vice-President Administration, will speak to the group about the wide range of occupations that exist at the University.

More than 200,000 students and more than 75,000 organizations across the country take part in the program every year.
