A GO-VAXX mobile COVID-19 vaccine clinic is coming to McMaster’s campus on Friday, May 6th.

As the pandemic continues, public health experts are urging everyone to get vaccinated and to get a booster dose of the COVID-19 vaccine which can help increase one’s immune response to the virus.

The clinic is open to McMaster students, faculty and staff as well as to members of the Hamilton community. First, second, third and booster doses for adults and youth ages 12 and up will be available, as well as the paediatric Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine for children aged five to 11.

Appointments for the clinic can be booked through the province’s booking portal or by calling the Provincial Vaccine Contact centre at 1-833-943-3900.

Walk-ins will be accepted based on availability.

Please bring your Ontario Health Insurance Plan (OHIP) and/or University Health Insurance Plan (UHIP) card with you to the clinic. International students, please bring physical, hard copies of previous vaccinations from other countries.

This clinic comes after several other COVID-19 vaccine clinics held on McMaster’s campus in recent months saw a strong response from the community.
