DeGroote Centre for Learning & Discovery (MDCL).

Duxbury, a professor at the Sprott School of Business, Carleton University, has published widely in both the academic and practitioner literatures in the area of work-family conflict, change management, supportive work environments, stress, telework, the use and impact of office technology, managing the new workforce and supportive management. She has also given over 300 plenary talks on these topics to both public and private sector audiences.

At Tuesday's event, Duxbury will be addressing the topic of A Changing Workforce: Dealing with Generational Differences in the Workplace. For the first time in history, there are four generations interacting in the workplace and this personal dynamic poses some interesting challenges for managers and employees alike. Duxbury will offer strategies for working in this new labour market and illustrate how these generational differences impact an organization at all levels.

Career Services is the host of this special event and is committed to creating a campus wide forum for discussion around topics related to careers and invites the entire McMaster community. Duxbury's keynote address will take place on Tuesday, March 28 at 7 p.m. in MDCL-3020. Few spaces remain; to reserve your seat please email fuciar@mcmaster.ca.
