Hockey Canada is holding its strength and conditioning camp at McMaster from May 7 to 11.

The players on campus include 53 candidates for Canada’s National Women’s Under-18 Team and 51 candidates for Canada’s National Women’s Developmental Team.

The camp is the first step on the long road to the 2018 Olympic Winter Games in PyeongChang, South Korea.

It is considered an important first step in identifying Canada’s future women’s hockey stars, including those would could one day play for the National Women’s Team.
